Laborious
Becoming a champion team, as any great achievement in life takes an extraordinary dose of work. We have to put in the work day in and day out whether we want it or not.

Voracious
Any champion team has a voracious desire for achieving their goals. They consume any obstacle that is in their way. A voracious team is unstoppable.

Above
For a champion team to climb the top on the podium, they must be above everyone. To be the best we must win the bests.
I truly appreciate coach Carlos and his commitment for volleyball. He has taught me many volleyball techniques which help me expand my ability for hitting, blocking, serving and more. I want to continue to work with him so he can guide and train me to achieving my goals to play college volleyball and internationally.

What Parents and Players Saying About LVA
Last year, out of the blue, my son decided he wanted to start playing volleyball. We quickly learned that he was behind most of the other players.
I honestly just thought it would be a cool experience for him to get a chance to play with a former Olympian, but little did I know just how much he would get out of that single visit. We quickly decided that this was something we wanted to do on a regular basis. So he began working with Carlos regularly over the next several months. And the work paid off! This year, despite the need to move up to the next age bracket and despite only having one year of experience, my son made the A Team for his club!
What a difference a year makes! And what a difference Carlos makes!

I get emotional by just thinking how much my volleyball skills improved in just 9 months of working with Coach Carlos. So happy that my mom booked that first private lesson in November 2020. I had already been playing club volleyball for a couple years but needed improvements in every area. Continued to work with Coach Carlos doing the Elite Spring Program including private lessons monthly and the Summer camp program. I have gained so much more advanced knowledge in the sport. My primary position is a middle blocker, My overall hitting approach and timing has improved tremendously, much more consistent . My vertical jump and agility much more improved. Improved Volleyball IQ which greatly increased my confidence as a player. In just 6 months , got invited to travel/play at nationals with the higher team, had 4 offers 3 of those on top club teams. Made JV team as a Freshman in very competitive HS program. Excited to keep getting better, goal is to play at college level. Appreciate you Coach Carlos!!
