Are You A Winner?

I’m sure you are asking if you have what it takes to be a winner.

You admire those super athletes on tv and love watching them play. These super athletes give the impression of being superhumans, and some of them really have super talents.

I personally love to see athletes, artists, singers, and actors perform, and catch myself saying “Wao, this is not human”. when watching these high performers, is normal to ask, do I have what it takes to perform at that level? I’m here to tell you, YES YOU CAN!

The Bible says that God made us in its image, thus, we have an unlimited potential to do whatever we want as far this is lined up with God’s purpose.

As a Christian, I believe that we all have the privilege of living to use the gift and talents God has given us to serve His purpose.

Every person is unique. God created you with a specific set of gifts and talents. We are different in height, weight, and color. We also have different abilities and talents.

The most common excuse for a person for their lack of success is that she is not skillful, talented, or gifted enough. However successful people handle to go through their limitations and discover and develop the gifts and talents God has given them. They also develop the skills they need to become a winner.

Elite athletes work so hard that is what makes things look so easy. What we don’t see though, is the tons of hours, sweat, and tears they spend crafting their game and the discipline they have to stick with the plan.

Instead of asking whether you are a winner ask yourself: Am I willing to pay the price to a winner?

Don’t you know that those who run in the stadium all really run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way that you win. 1 Corinthians 9:24
